About the performance
Lena and Trille are two nine year olds who share sincere friendship. Together they love to explore the world and sometimes get reckless ideas that gain support from Trille’s favorite adult – his Granddad who is just as adventurous as his grandson. Trille’s family is big, always full of buoyancy, especially when his Great-aunt with her wonderful heart and the tastiest waffles in the whole world arrives. However, Lena lives just with her mother. That is why one day Lena decides to put up a daring announcement and put an end to this shared solitude. Trille is Lena’s friend and rescuer every time she bumps and falls again, yet little Lena’s heart longs for one and only – dad. On this adventure they take a ferry to the city to earn some money, experience disappointment about things they can not change, grieve over loved one’s departure and get to know true friendship.
Playwright Zane Zusta has adapted Maria Parr’s “Waffle Hearts” (publishing house “Liels un Mazs”, translated by Jolanta Pētersone) into a stage version that immerses both the younger and older audience into an exciting, funny, sweet, and emotional story. This splendid play full of songs and dances will once again invite the families into the miraculous world of the puppets.

Ļoti patika izrāde, bija bauda gan acīm (skaistas lelles, interesanti skatuves risinājumi), gan ausīm (skaista mūzika), gan arī dvēselei (daudz asprātīgi joki gan bērniem, gan vecākiem, gan arī vieta sarunām ar bērnu par jautājumiem, kurus citkārt neapspriestu). Lai gan pēc izrādes apraksta mazliet baidījos, vai izrāde nebūs skumja (un vai nebūs raudošs bērns jāmierina), bet jutos patīkami pārsteigta, cik izrāde piesātināta ar asprātīgiem jokiem gan bērniem, gan vecākiem un cik viegli tika iznestas smagas tēmas. Galvenie varoņi pārvarēja grūtības un izrāde beidzās laimīgi. Skaista un dzīvespriecīga izrāde - iesaku!

Lieliska izrāde, skaistas lelles un brīnišķīga scenogrāfija. Izrādes pēcgarša ar garām vakara sarunām ar sešgadnieku par stāsta sarežģītākajiem jautājumiem "Kāpēc Lēnas tētis viņu pameta, pirms viņa bija piedzimusi?". Teicējas-pelītes savukārt visus smīdināja un noturēja mazās māsas uzmanību. Daži jociņi arī īpaši radīti vecākiem. Ļoti iesaku!
