Rihards Zelezņevs

Rihards is an expressive actor who can enchant anyone with his energy and charm.  He was born and raised in Rīga, where he was graduated from the Latvian Academy of Culture with a degree in dramatic theatre and specialization in puppet theatre.  Rihards is an actor at the Latvian Puppet Theatre, but he has also taken part in various other theatrical and cinema projects.  Music is another passion.  Rihards plays the drums in the band Grandfather’s Cigarettes and has been involved in E-music experiments at a special musical unit known as “Effekts.”  Rihards has tried his hand at composing music for performances, as well as directing theatrical plays.  During his free time, Rihards listens to music on vinyl records and flees from everything urban to the natural world.
