About the performance
Premiere: 26.02.2027.
The performance invites us to share those precious moments before bedtime, when a grown-up tells or reads a story and favourite cuddly toys listen patiently from the bed, often becoming part of the adventures that unfold in dreams. Sometimes these adventures and the feelings they stir are so vivid that we remember them well into adulthood. The characters we meet – Uncle Boo, little Jeanne and the Guardian of Sleep, who reminds us so much of Mum – belong to just such imaginary tales.
We invite audience members of all ages to bring along their bedtime teddy bears and other favourite cuddly toys as we enter a world where, just as in Kitty Crowther’s book, the boundary between waking and dreaming begins to blur.
