Guided Tour at the Latvian Puppet Theatre offers an educational and engaging experience, revealing both the theatre areas hidden behind doors marked “Authorized Personnel Only” and the fascinating work of a puppet theatre actor.
During the tour, participants will get a glimpse into spaces usually closed to audiences — visiting workshops where puppets and stage sets are created, as well as storage areas where these works of art are kept. The tour also introduces the “other side” of the Grand Hall, giving insight into what it looks like and what happens backstage.
The tour concludes in the Small Hall, where participants will be introduced to various puppet theatre techniques and will have the chance to step into the role of an actor themselves, experiencing firsthand the skills required to operate puppets. It’s a wonderful opportunity to experience the magic of theatre from a different perspective!

Lūdzu nododiet sirsnīgu paldies Dacei Vītolai par ekskursiju 22.01.26. Mans 10-gadīgais puika bija tik iedvesmots, ka teica, ka arī kļūs par leļļu teātra aktieri! Vispār šogad vislabākās izrādes ir bijušas tieši Leļļu teātrī! Esmu sēdējusi un domājusi, ka man liekas daudz kvalitatīvākās un smieklīgākas kā citur. Lai Jums izdodas!

Ekskursija leļļu teātrī bija brīnišķīga pieredze gan bērniem, gan pieaugušajiem! Kopā ar savu 4 gadus veco meitiņu baudījām neaizmirstamu piedzīvojumu, kas lika smaidīt un smieties ik uz soļa. Bijām aizrautīgi iesaistīti visā procesā – apskatījām teātra telpas, iepazinām lielo un mazo zāli, kā arī paši kļuvām par māksliniekiem. Iemācījāmies darboties ar lellēm, izmēģinājām aktieru lomas, pildījām uzdevumus un ļāvām vaļu iztēlei. Īpaši interesanti bija uzzināt, kā rodas lelles un kā tās tiek atdzīvinātas uz skatuves. Piedzīvojums atklāja daudz jauna par aktieru darbu, viņu ikdienas izaicinājumiem un radošo procesu. Tas bija aizraujoši, izglītojoši un ļoti iedvesmojoši! Paldies par lieliski pavadīto laiku – noteikti atgriezīsimies vēl!

Ar ģimeni piedzīvojām ļoti jauku, izzinošu vakaru Leļļu teātrī. Tik tuvu redzēt to, kā top izrāde, ir īpaši. Vēl interesantāk, ja bērns jau ir vests uz teātri, tad šī pieredze ir vēl personiskāk uzrunājoša. Tagad atkal gribam uz teātri!!
