A joyful celebration at the Courtyard Festival!
On 31 May, the courtyard of the Latvian Puppet Theatre was filled with joy and excitement as we celebrated our annual Courtyard Festival, held in honour of International Children’s Day.
Every year, this festival is a celebration of childhood, imagination and the joy of being together, giving our youngest audiences a chance to meet the theatre’s actors and experience theatre in a different way - freely and playfully!
This year’s theme was cardboard, and together we managed to build the longest and most complex box maze in Riga, create a brand-new Riga neighbourhood, take on all kinds of relay races, play games and celebrate the day in style!
Thank you to everyone who came, took part, built, laughed and celebrated with us. Long live imagination - and see you at the theatre!
