About the performance

From their destroyed homes, through the many dangers on the way, the loss of dear ones, difficult and sometimes impossible decisions to make, all the way until a sad and inevitable end, or for the few a life in limbo of no documents, sans-papier. This is not Hollywood, this drama is real life, and it is happening right now, and not as far from us as we think. How to bridge the gap between the way that we see refugees, as tiny figures on a tv screen, and the physical and psychological experience that these refugees have? Through a game of shifting scale from miniature figures to full body actors, through two simultaneous layers of storytelling: the micro and the macro, they are switching between these two perspectives and trying to understand: how does it really feel to be a refugee on the run?
